Farm Policy

As a herd share owner you have purchased a share in a herd of Jersey cows and entered into an agreement to pay monthly boarding fees for the care of the cows and in exchange receive dairy products. OFF FARM PICK UP LOCATIONS The products will be delivered weekly to a designated location and time. Please pick up your product or 1. Make arrangements to have someone else pick it up 2. Make another kind of arrangement with Amy 3. Contact Trudy by the Wednesday before the scheduled pick up so that the milk can be made into another form of product for you to pick up at a following date 4. Make plans to pick up at the farm 5. Forfeit the product Boarding fees will not be refunded since your cows continue to eat and require care. FARM PICK UP The products will be in the refrigerated coolers in the milk house ready for you on your scheduled day or after. Please notify Trudy if you will not be picking up so that your milk can be made into another product. JAR CARE Please return glass jars washed and dried along with the lid and ring. A week passes before we receive them and they get pretty nasty if you only rinse them. BOARDING FEE PAYMENTS We are using an online management program (Farmigo) to hopefully help speed up your pick up by not paying at the market. You can use the electronic check choice or mail a check to us.
